Waxing

Waxing is an effective, eco friendly temporary method of removing unwanted hair in large and small areas.

Any reusable tools (like tweezers or scissors) are cleaned with soap and water, then disinfected using a medical-grade solution (e.g., PREempt CS20). Treatment beds, trolleys, and handles are wiped down between every client using hospital-grade disinfectant.
We use disposable sticks for ALL waxing “No double dipping”
We wear disposable gloves during all services, changing them between clients and whenever contamination may occur.

Exfoliate skin 24-48 hours before your appointment to ensure all dead skin is removed
Make sure hair is 1/4-1/2” long (at least the length of a grain of rice) to ensure a successful wax appointment
On the day of your appointment, wear comfortable clothing to ensure less irritation as tight clothing can rub against your skin
Do not apply lotions on your skin before your appointment as skin needs to be rid of oils for the wax to stick properly
No deodorant on the underarms
Please keep personal hygiene clean before any service!
Avoid heat such as hot tubs, saunas or tanning beds as this will irritate skin during waxing procedure
No waxing treatments with infections such as Bacterial, Fungal, and Viral (if you have herpes simplex virus, service can be done 48 hours after taking antiviral medication such as Vultrex)
Waxing procedures cannot be done if you are on Accutane(must be off 1 year), Retin-A, Renova, Blood thinners, Antidepressants, Cortisone, Hormonal medications
7-day post microdermabrasion or chemical peels
Be aware that 1 week before your period, the skin cells are inflamed which leads to sensitivity causing discomfort during waxing
